I came back to take another look at your painting and found this. You’re so right to give your advice about how important it is to be true to yourself because that’s what counts the most. Sometimes life forces your hand and opens the door of your own gifts to you and everyone around you can feel enriched.

I looked at your painting again to recover the feeling of stillness and peace it gave me and it worked it’s magic again. I love the colors, and their contrast of the warm sky, also reflected in the water with your broad, loose strokes punctuated with the fine sharp lines of the tree trunks and branches. Your use of the dark blue as the shaded side of the closest tree is inspired. It’s visually delicious!
