These kind of articles from various places on the left are pretty typical, about so-and-so not being a real socialist, or ideologically true and pure enough, etc. Anybody who doesn't fit whatever sect or tendency's idea of a purity is some kind of 'pseudo-leftist' or right winger, no matter what they actually believe and do, and the critique is written in such a way as to put the person and their actions in the worst light. This kind of thing has been going on for more than a hundred years on the left, and I'm sure it's not going away any time soon. I find these kind of critiques annoying and tiresome, but on the other hand, it's kind of cool that Sanders is getting them. They don't bother to do this particular kind of critique to real right wingers, so he's probably closer to their views than they'd like to admit.

Note, I'm not against critique--I personally do like and support Sanders, but I welcome hearing the 'bad' as well as the good. Bring it on. It's just that these particular type of critiques get my back up and are a pet peeve of mine.

There is some good discussion and (IMO), balanced critiques about the Sanders campaign going on back-and-forth in the articles and letters to the editor at Socialist Worker (I'm not affiliated with them): http://socialistworker.org/2015/06/02/views-in-brief
