... from my iPhone to my computer, and it turns out that my iMac's OS doesn't allow Photoshop to perform certain critical functions – like transferring images from my phone to Photoshop – and there are no more OS updates available for this 8 or 9-year-old computatin' machine. Ain't corporatism grand?
I finally got to speak with a human being with an Indian accent, and he directed me to a list of older versions of Photoshop that would work for me, but the list ended just before it got to version 14.whatever, so he gave me a phone number to call. It was too late in the day to call them, apparently, and the following day we had high winds and power outages all over the place, including us. I cranked up the generator, but with phone lines down, there still weren't gonna be any calls made that day. Or the next.
I'm going to try them in a few minutes. If it all works, joyous hosannahs shall ring throughout the land.
