15. We watched it. My wife is a big Cornwell fan and loved it.

Sunday

I’ve never read the books but the interactions between her and Marino were good TV. I just watched it as a regular viewer and thought it was really good. We were disappointed that it wasn’t shot in Richmond because that is, I’m told, a big part of the books. Apparently they shot it in Nashville- production companies pretty much just fish around for deals from state boards and will shoot anywhere.

My wife loved it but thought Kidman was a strange choice. I thought the young Scarpetta looked remarkably and distractingly like the WH spokesidiot Leavitt.

Jamie Lee was a hoot. My wife loved when they all cooked because that is also a big part of the books.

I watched the first 3 and my wife finished the season on Friday while she was at home teleworking.

I haven't read the books either. Most of the negative reviews I've read are from people who are fans of the novels. Floyd R. Turbo Sunday #16
