their dog who had passed sent them this puppy to fill up the whole in their hearts.

so hear me out.
40 years ago or so, I had a mouse in the house. I was at my office telling my coworker about it and I said "What i need is a mouser." Ten minutes later, a cat arrived at the door of my office.
This never happened before and never again, and I worked in that office for over 18 years. It was like Tinkerbelle was my very own Mary Poppins.

Then, after Bekah died, my friend Jacques told me about his friend whose dog had died. She buried him in the back yard, and within a few days (can't recall the exact timeline, it could have been the next day), a cat appeared on her dog's grave in the backyard. She adopted the cat and it had been with her ever since.

Jacques didn't see it the same way I did and do, but these things happened. I choose to see it as a spiritual experience.
