29. I have many useless things!

Wednesday

But one of them is a whole set of fine china, Mikasa, and crystal drinking goblets. Back in the 80s when we got married, almost every couple had to have “fine china” and “everyday china”. I never use the fine china because it is not dishwasher safe. I think I used it for maybe 2 holiday dinners in over 30 years. It’s really pretty, but what a waste of money! And people aren’t buying it, either.

My kitchen was tiny when we moved into this house. I had 2 and 1/2 feet of counter space on either side of the sink. We enclosed a breezeway and made that into our everyday dining room and enlarge the kitchen and got rid of the table and chairs in there since it was too cramped for me, my husband, and three big boys.

Happy Thanksgiving, Deb!
