Is Wednesday night before Thanksgiving known as "College Night" in your town? [View all]

I live in Pittsburgh, and for as long as I can remember the bars in Pittsburgh have called Wednesday night before Thanksgiving "College Night." Why? Because it's the first holiday weekend since the college kids went away to school... and now they're home again and meeting up with their old friends.

Many of those students have found ways to get served alcohol while they're away from home. Let's face it, college is all about trying new things, am I right? So tonight they want to get together with their old chums and share their stories. The bars will do a great business tonight.

But, since I'm not college age and haven't been for a LONG time, I believe I'll avoid the bars tonight.
