I am NOT a coffee snob...I want my coffee to be hot in the winter, cold in the summer, and wake me up with an adequate dose of caffeine. I like it black and unflavored.

I would really suggest buying one of these (link below). Ill tell you why: it doesn't have a hotplate...I has a thermos type carafe that keeps the coffee hot and fresh for hours. So you brew the coffee then it's hot most of the day without getting that burnt taste from sitting on a hotplate.

For me, this eliminates the waste and extra expense of all those plastic packets, but you still have hot fresh coffee all morning.

Just my two cents.
