29. Classic mistake is to wear a coat for the first time it gets cold, and drop your keys in the coat pocket.

Happened to me a couple of times. Once, when it warmed up, I tossed my coat in the car, "knowing" my keys were in my pants pocket ... it was a rental car, and I had gone out of town for an interview ... at least the campus police were very nice and helpful.
