I'll add it to my collection of lore.

I heard that you can predict what kind of winter it'll be by looking at the wooly worms. If they have more black than brown, the winter will be worse.

My Mom, who was born and raised in Cleveland, told me the frogs had to be frozen out 3 times before Spring was really here. I told one of my friends and she said, "I didn't know frogs could count!" Laughed myself silly
