19. I don't remember what mine is

but the last time I looked at the MediCal statement (a couple of years ago), it cane to $800-something. They probabl get a better deal through MediCal than through private insurance.

Mine started with a huge floater, which started becomig a "window shade" black spot a few months later. That gradually got lower and lower before I had the surgery through some kind of state emergency insurance.

They tested me for diabetes early in the process. I was okay there, assuming "borderline pre-diabetic" isn't much to worry about. (I cut back on sugary foods, but there ain't no way in hell I'm givin' up Dr Pepper.)
