had it, and loved it bc they lived in SE Asia where it was common for a few years!
This was years before it was allowed into the US. Although it was grown in Puerto Rico since the early-ish 1900's.

Japan Airlines had/?has special sniffer dogs that can sniff it out even when extremely wrapped up. Like a Japanese man trying to sneak one back from Indonesia wrapped up in cellophane and newspaper! 😄
