5. I had a cat named Boots and whenever I went on vacation, I left her at a cat hotel.

When I came to pick her up, she would CLING to the worker. It ripped my heart out. Then when we got home, she would give me the cold shoulder for several hours. After she had sufficiently given me the shunning, she would not leave my side for a week.

What a difference between cats and dogs! I loved her anyway and miss her to this day.
