10. People care about issues. When he opened the debate with a petty, personal attack

he made it clear he was not the one in the debate who wanted to talk about issues that affect the voters. It made him look childish, and it was obviously prepared. What people want are candidates who are prepared to address the serious issues people are facing, NOT who are only prepared to personally attack their opponents.
