What mainstream media does not bring up is that many of the people who voted for Trump's repeal of ACA in 2017 are still in Congress and Senate.

Mike Johnson voted for it.
John Thune voted for it.

They could resolve the shutdown today for partnering with the Democrats; but I still think they won't to kill ACA in part, if not in whole.
