We will not retract any of the statements made on last night’s show. I said what I said, and I stand by it because it’s the truth.

Trump is a sexual abuser. No retraction there. Trump is a criminal. No retraction there. Trump is a fraud. No retraction there. Trump is a felon. No retraction there.

The theme of our episode last night was moral clarity. We need to speak clearly and directly about Trump’s conduct. We need to make sure our coverage is rooted in enduring principles and values. We need to make sure we don’t “both sides” the issues when it comes to objective truths. We need to speak and deliver news with moral clarity.

I understand that the Trump regime wants us to retract numerous statements from last night’s show when I called Trump a criminal and a sexual abuser.
