They were so stupid they didn't understand the underpinnings of prosperity, quality of life, social foundations, the common good.

It will take civilization to answer this moment and reverse the trauma. There will be collective CPTSD. And how do you answer when the masses are so delusional, subject to hallucinations, gullible? I have no idea what would make them understand, wake up.
