3. He might emerge as our national candidate, who knows?

Seems odd, he's from CT and my senator (i love him). But since he is amassing crowds in other states, he has touched a nerve in the country. He's a good guy, I think, but I don't know too much about him. He's not a Yalie, which is probably a plus nationally. I think Joe Lieberman was our state's last nationally known political star when he was on the ticket with Al Gore running against GW Bush).
