The billionaires are gladly destroying both for financial gain.

Our democracy, the USA, the country which made them rich, the people who work for them,
all meaningless. They already are so rich they cannot spend it in one life time.
Neither can their heirs. They don't pay taxes and live in the lap of luxury.
It still is not enough. They must have more and more.
