5. A lot of Federal Contracts have DEI provisions written into them.

Contractors from thousands of companies would be required to revise how they hire if they want to do business with the Federal Government.
This could create a major disruption in the whole process of government purchasing.
What I think will actually happen is that most companies will continue with their current hiring practices, but not call it DEI. There isn't exactly a lot of unemployed excess labor out their anyway.
