... running on autopilot regurgitating "facts" that may or may not be true, stuff they read on the internet or heard on some podcast, without any critical thinking involved. We've all done it.

Theodore Sturgeon, science fiction author and critic, said that "Ninety percent of everything is crap." This sounds about right to me.

When computers imitate intelligence it's all crap, nothing more than a regurgitation of facts, true or not, with no critical thinking involved.
