19. I think the SC decision means that crimes CAN be official acts!

Yesterday

The Supreme Court gave him immunity from prosecution for acts committed in his role as President, or as wikipedia has it, "absolute immunity for official acts within an exclusive presidential authority that Congress cannot regulate such as the pardon, command of the military, execution of laws, or control of the executive branch" which is why my original premise here was "If he can twist something into an 'official duty."

One does not need immunity if the activity in question is legal. Therefore, the thing the court is giving him immunity for is things that are not legal -- IOW, crime -- provided said illegal thing was done within the scope of his official duties, as described above. So whether he can be prosecuted for a crime seems to rest on whether he can successfully argue that such crime was committed within his official duties as President
