Yesterday

I expect the objective was "'regime change' with the expectation that the people would 'rise up' and 'take back' their country". When that didn't happen, they switched focus to the "obliterated" nukes, obviously forcing the admission that nothing was "obliterated" previously, other than many civilians and their infrastructure, and some of the leadership.
