even if they were not directly applicable in this case. I am not a pilot, but I have taken an interest in aviation lately, with some good story-tellers out there like Mentour Pilot. And he definitely echoes what you say about there being so many safeguards that there will almost always have to be 2 or 3 simultaneous failures (procedurally or mechanically) to cause such an accident.
