Nominees to every position (including the SC) lie their asses off. Subpoenaed witnesses called to testify lie their asses of. Cabinet appointees called to testify for their actions lie their asses off. It never ends and nothing ever happens.

I'm old enough to remember when being called to testify before Congress was serious and scary because of the threat of punishment for perjury. That was a long long time ago and it pisses me off.
