Too scared to be a soldier, too dumb to be a cop—this aptly identifies the people recruited by Noem’s DHS to fill the ranks of ICE. It has become apparent that Noem has neither the will nor the skill to properly train and restrain these agents. So, I suggest that you remove Noem—either demand resignation or begin impeachment proceedings in a bicameral action. And since the DHS seems unable to fulfill their responsibility to maintain order and respect the rule of law, it falls to our representatives—THAT’S YOU—to oversee and demand compliance. Additionally, whatever legislation you must enact to constrain this rogue agency (including withholding funding), you must include penalties for both miscreants and those who permit/enable them. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
