1. This never really had a chance here. If anything it raised awareness to the goings on in very apathetic state

I'm hoping we can light a fire under peoples asses here. We have one of the lowest voter turnouts in the country for Prez elections (its in the bottom 10 I think) and its even worse for off year elections. There is a very generational "your vote doesn't matter, both sides are corrupt, the federal govt can shove it and stay out of my business" attitude in this state that stretches back to when the auto industry crashed here (and yes it has more than its share of racist fucks). Indiana wasn't always this ruby red and really it still isn't. Like many fly over states its had the shit gerrymandered out of it over the last 30 years or so. My district had close races and often voted Blue until they slapped the wealthiest county in the state into it. About half of the small farming towns around me have Blue mayors and/or Councils.

I'm glad they didn't go for this on one hand but on another I kind of wish they would've because they would've taken a big hit '26 just on the premise that they let the Fed come in fuck with their elections. Even some of the worst MAGAt's I know wanted nothing to do with this. Grandpa wouldn't have liked it.

FF!!!
