Both bills has been languishing in the Senate for months.
One of the bills fully funds the VA through the end of the fiscal year (September 30, 2026) and the other fully funds SNAP with INCREASED appropriations through the end of the fiscal year as well.
Democrats denied Trump his clean CR and forced him to sign Democratic bills that will remove hungry kids and veterans as potential bargaining chips when the January CR comes up.
As for Fetterman, there were voters concerned about him when he was running in his primary, but prominent boosters assured voters in PA that everything would be OK.
Some of the same folks have been amplifying Republican and anti-Democratic Party talking points on social media and in their beg-o-grams for days now. They should either stay on message (like Leader Jeffries) or take a seat.
