one funding the VA, and one for increased funding for SNAP. Both Democratic bills guarantee funding for the remainder of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.
Senate Democrats have been trying to get those bills out of committee since June.
Today they’re law.
Take the victories and take the tactical retreat until the fight starts again with January’s CR.
