I'm not sure they'll know how to navigate that.

They're going to be in the place of people in Germany claiming in 1947 that they were never Nazis.

I'm currently slowly reading a book on the trial of Marshall Phelip Petain who headed the French collaborative Vichy regime. Everyone wanted to claim they were with the resistance although many held positions in the Vichy regime.

There really weren't that many Leon Blum types around to hold the trial.
