1. Self inflicted gunshot wound after a police chase.

Different news sources have the following data points, but none I have seen so far include them all to clarify what order they go in:

A) Police attempt welfare check at but nobody is home
B) Texted to someone saying goodbye
C) Traffic violation leads to police chase, which includes hit and run, ending with fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It isn't clear to me when B happened. Was that the impetus for A or was there some other reason for the welfare check? Did it occur during C?
