I would keep an eye on Dana Rohrabacher (left CA and moved to ME and has slowly bubbled up out of obscurity).

I saw this about him too -

He didn't get the nomination (the current one - John Squires - just got confirmed in September) but the fact that his name came up after all this time suggests he is putting feelers out as "Russia's (former) favorite Congressman".

Mother Jones had an article about him in 2020 - A GOP Congressman Received “Sensitive Documents” From Russian Officials in 2016
