…on this and so many other issues. The smart, tough Elder Statesman offering plain talk and blunt truths. That’s exactly what this moment in history demands.

Leave behind the soothing political platitudes and carefully constrained language of “institutional norms.” They served us poorly in the past. They lie gutted and strewn in the dirt today.

Let our Elder Statesman speak his mind and show his fire, more freely than he ever could as President. And aimed directly at the terrible danger we now face.
