Did you let them run around, claiming to be acting on your behalf without one shred of written evidence to back that claim up? If not, then it's a similar situation. I would have thought that someone acting on behalf of a Federal LE agency would have had some kind of identifying document, in case they got into a sticky situation that would have required their arrest if caught doing their thing if they couldn't say for whom they were doing it, and back it up with some kind of evidence.

These guys are going around doing their thing and expecting people to accept their federal authority just because they say so, and without any way of backing that claim up in case of some kind official challenge. If local law enforcement confronts them, weapons drawn, they have nothing to back up their claim that they are acting on some kind of federal authority. If I were a local uniformed cop and saw a bunch of thugs acting like they did, and they couldn't back up their words with one shred of paper, I'd be telling them to cease and desist and drop all weapons on the ground within three seconds, or else I'd shoot first and ask questions later.
