29. I remember that puppy.

Yesterday

That was just sick. For her to take an untrained dog into the field in a hunting situation and
then to shoot the dog because it didn’t preform is so wrong.

Bird hunting with a dog can be magical but it just doesn’t just happen without training.

A German Short Haired Spaniel even @ maturity is always a bag of energy that is so excited
that it is always quivering.

4 very separate and distinct commands:

Find the bird.

Point @ the bird.

Hold that point.

and flush that bird on command.

Btw lots of bird hunters bring along a retriever to fetch the bird after it has been shot.

Kristi is such a shit that she didn’t understand that when bird dogs are first time brought into
the field they are on a lead and held back so they can watch and learn.
