What the Sinclair statement says:

“Over the last week, we have received thoughtful feedback from viewers, advertisers, and community leaders representing a wide range of perspectives,”

What it really says:

“Over the last week, we have realized that we fucked up big time and after receiving so many complaints and subscription cancellations our servers overloaded, we give up. WE LOVE JIMMY KIMMEL AND ARE EXCITED TO HAVE HIM WITH US. IN FACT, WE ARE GOING TO GIVE HIM A REALLY BIG RAISE!!!!"
