2. Dems need to figure out a strategy for handling "shout downs"

Patel is particularly aggressive when he wants to cancel out Dem questioners by going into rapid-fire defensive shouting, drowning out the other person speaking. I did not see one person today able to defend against this tactic.

Pam Bondi does the same.

I'd like to see the Dems team up to be able to follow-up on points that get drowned out. He generally lets them get their initial point out before he goes off. They need to use that space to continue the points that are drowned out, then add new ones before he goes off again.

They also need to come prepared to factcheck the most egregious lies. Erich Schmidtt, (R-MO) went off on a egregious diatribe painting "leftists" as terrorists, doing a rapid-fire recitation of shootings, and asking Patel to identify if they were left or right. Dems needed to be prepared for that argument and find a way to shoot it down, perhaps with a poster of facts.

Their arguments, and style, are entirely predictable. We need to do a better job countering them.
