which borders at its west with northern Wales. It's where my ancestry began.
I have an expat friend in Stourport-on-Severn, which seems an idyllic little town (it has a stone arch bridge that's gotta be hundreds of years old), not far from Birmingham. Her back yard is right on the Severn River.
But then, if I could relicate to a country of my choice, it'd be New Zealand -- perhaps the most liberal country in the world, and it has footy. 
The only thing is, it isn't very large -- it'd easily fit inside California
( and has one-eighth the population), and it's some 800 miles to the east coast of Australia, so I might freel a bit sea-locked.
