Activists Protest Trump At DC Restaurant, Call Him 'Hitler Of Our Time' [View all]

A group of activists from CodePink, an anti-war group, protested President Donald Trump while he was dining at a seafood restaurant in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, per a video shared by the organization.

Demonstrators called out Trump’s foreign policy stances and use of the National Guard in D.C., yelling chants of “Trump is the Hitler of our time. Free D.C.! Free Palestine!”

Activists first confronted Trump as he entered the restaurant’s dining room, and kept up their chants as he approached his table. “He’s terrorizing communities in D.C. He’s terrorizing Gaza and communities all over the world,” one protester said.

A group of women yelling these statements was seen exiting the restaurant around 7:40 p.m. Eastern and escorted across the street by law enforcement, according to a White House pool report. Trump’s Tuesday dinner at Joe’s Seafood is the first he’s had at a D.C. restaurant since getting sworn in this January, CNN reports.
