The one point they mention by Democrats and residents, they both water down (unwarranted federal overreach is far from the only problem here), and give the reader the Rethug's counter-point immediately after. Then they fail to point out that far from crime being 'out of control', DC is low on the list of per-capita crime for large cities, AND the crime rate has been steadily falling since COVID. Wouldn't want to contradict His Highness with actual facts, at least not right up top in the part of the article most people read
