since Nixon and Raygun stoked it to get votes to get elected to office, including the coddling of the so-called "Moral Majority". However those 2 former Presidents paid them a lot of "lip service", and they eventually threw those loons under the bus by putting their concerns "on the back burner".

But as soon as 45 got in, he not only put their concerns right there "on the front burner", but has embraced them, promoted them, and is now implementing them as "official U.S. policy".
