Dem congresswoman, mayor, city council and county commissioners, police chief are mostly persons of color. I wouldn’t be surprised if the giant mango sent in the NG, just to say it’s not a blue state thing. Of course it would be ugly, most people there still remember the 50s and 60s. Downtown has a civil rights district, and the 16th Street Baptist Church is a shrine.

Trust me, it would get ugly real fast.

ETA: Gov. Kay Ivey would approve this action.
