There are pretty large protests in neighboring New Smyrna Beach on the scheduled national protest days (which we participated in), but the closest thing to a protest in Edgewater is rednecks grumbling about the long lines at the local Mini-Mart when there's a big lottery jackpot. Or if they've run out of the on sale 12-packs of Keystone on a Friday night. Gets testy...
