At least they are...

- Waiting till they have a chance to look at it instead of just hacking away at it blindly within 10 minutes of walking in the door

- Looking at an organization that actually does have waste. Of course I am sure their idea of waste and our idea of waste would differ.

I think the under the radar concern here is where it crosses over with this crazy idea that Trump is pressuring companies to give up ownership to the government. It doesn't take a lot of imagination to see where considerations for not cutting a contract becomes giving Trump a stake in the company. "Maybe we would reconsider cutting that weapons program if..." Such a mob-boss mentality. That is such a dangerous road to go down.
