4. I'm in So Cal (near the ocean), and this summer has been very cool.

I don't ever recall an August with 2 weeks of morning overcast skies (that sometimes lasted into the late afternoon). Now we're being hit with some heat, but previous years have definitely been worse. We were supposed to get some August rain today, but it didn't hit us.

Not a fan of summers. I hate heat. But this year has not been bad. I suspect September and October will be hot. Hell, sometimes November is in the 90's most of the month.

Not an anti-climate change person (just the opposite), but just wanted to point out that we got lucky this year in So Cal.
