Switch out vehicles if they need to. Even rural carriers rarely exceed 150 miles per day. These kinds of ranges are easy for electric vans, which can simply recharge overnight at a typical rate of 14 miles added range per hour of level 2 (240VAC, 30A) charging. 12 hours of charging between shifts and they’re good to go.
