When asked what he was fearful of, state Rep. Gene Wu, chair of the Texas House Democratic Caucus, said one word: “Minnesota.” He was referring to a Minnesota state lawmaker who was shot and killed along with her husband earlier this year when the suspect appeared at their home.

Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and husband Mark Hortman. And Golden Retriever Gilbert too.

In addition, the same night, the same person, Vance Boelter, shot and seriously injured both a state senator and his wife

Senator John Hoffman and Yvette Hoffman

Boelter also went to close proximity of the home of my very own state senator, Ann Rest, but a New Hope police officer came by and he left.

All of the above are Democrats except Boelter.

So yes, it's more than just threats, intimidation tactics, and nasty emails.
