By now I’ve realized that too many voters in certain states value Very Online Culture War BS over actual issues when voting. I guess that’s a good way to avoid addressing hard truths like why the young people are running away from their small towns. Sure, there are few upwardly mobile opportunities now that the jobs of your grandparents have become obsolete but hey, you really got back at some random transgender person from San Francisco you’ve never met?

I wonder how much too long the Union has babysat those regressive moochers, 20? 50? 150 years?
