The rules say they have to give formal 30 written notice when they are firing you.
You also get certain reinstatement rights, and hiring rights in the future, including special status for veterans to be rehired.

It takes at least that long to do all the things necessary to fire a federal employee at CFPB. More like 90 days from now that everybody will be gone. They have to write notices.
