5. OK, let's ponder Trump's possible motives

We know he hates people and that includes kids.

We know he enjoys making people miserable

Also, we have seen he coddles dirty fossil fuel industries

Maybe this is his way of selling coal. If there are no toys to buy, maybe he hopes adults will buy coal to give to children and then tell them they just weren't good enough this year, so Santa brought coal.
